Ok y’all, this is kind of a silly post, but with summer sneaking in, it’s time for some silly fun, right? One of our favorite dinner conversation starters and ways to pass time on a car ride is to play Would You Rather. Even the most pouty tween tends to come around and engage with a fun mix of would you rather questions. Hailey and Kaitlyn (ages 12 and now 10 – sniffle) are pretty imaginative when coming up with would you rather questions. Often times it gets gross quickly though as they come up with disgusting options of things to eat, so I like to have a list of alternative would you rather questions ready to go.

Unfamiliar with Would You Rather? This classic game is played by presenting two options, and asking your kids if they had to choose, which one would they choose. Would You Rather questions can be silly, or gross, but they can also be very deep and challenging making them a great way to get your kids to think about what they’d do if presented with some pretty tough choices. You never know what kind of meaningful conversation can spring up from a simple game of Would You Rather.
